it is helpful if you can continue with it… sooner you will appreciate the guy you see in the mirror.
most would also want to buy protein drinks and something else… but that is not that important. it is more important to work out diligently and with proper form, do not rush to using heavy weight immediately… take your time.

Yes, especially if you do it with a good diet. With the additional workouts, you will be tempted to eat more and bigger meals. Use the gym for the cardio equipment to maximize the calorie burn. Utilize the stationery bike, the tread mill, and especially the elliptical for max burn. If it is just the machine It is a strength trainer good for strength and muscle tone… I am not sure of the calorie burn.
Make a schedule for the gym and your bike rides and stick to it. Be sure to give yourself a day off. Be realistic with the machines and distances, and increase the mileage consistently….

evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat – if you have any – six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches – I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.
A. Eat ALL types of nutrients and never reduce calories too much (otherwise you’ll slow your metabolism down… which will then force your body to store fat).
B. Build muscle: The more muscle you have, the more your body will burn fat… automatically… even while you sleep! Focus more on compound weight training such as dead lifts, bench presses, squats, etc. since those exercises build muscle faster, and you’ll burn off more calories.
C. Cardio: The best type of cardio I recommend is high intensity interval training (H.I.I.T)
D. Boost the metabolism: The faster your metabolism is (with natural methods such as eating more frequently), the faster you’ll burn fat.
You may want to develop your baseline aerobic endurance (fat burning metabolism) so that your body recognizes FAT, rather than sugar, as the primary fuel source.
Cycling and running at a conversational pace for 1 hour a day 5x per week does the trick instead of redlining a workout — these redline sessions should be done once per week at the most.
Secondly, avoid anything in a box or from a fast food window and modify your diet. If it has the word HYDROGENATED on the package, drop it like the poison it is. That includes almost all cookies and snacks found in the grocery store.
